"Hey Gang,

Sorry for the long wait in between mailouts but things have been crazy in not only the world of AP but the world of the people in AP.

First the real bad news:  I, Alex Kane, will not be performing at the Rock N Blues Festival (AP's fave UK festival, bar none!) with Marky and Clare.  I feel really badly about this as I have been waiting since AntiProduct's triumphant UK return over Christmas with Cap'n Ginger and the Wildhearts, and viewed it as another homecoming, back to the UK armed and loaded, attempting to always ser the bar (what's all this talk of "bars"?) for rock 'n' roll, let alone having the continued honor of crushing you guys with the Legendary Marky Ramone let alone The Mighty AP.  But alas... I can't go into all the details of why but suffice it so say if there had been anyway to make this show happen (I booked the thing for Christ sake!!) I would be there and want to be there more than almost anything.  I truly hope that my sub realises just how important you guys are to me/AP and that everything we do in music is based in our gratitude to the UK for giving birth to AntiProduct.  Plus, if you get on that stage and don't have your A++ game to hand, man oh man, you deserve to go down!

Our Lady Clare, who will certainly be flying the AntiProduct flag at RNB (and she'll be toting AP merch for you at the gig so just go find her) has begun working with none other than the legendary Kim Fowley, most recently immortalized in The Runaways movie (he started that band with Joan Jett in addition to having hits with Kiss, Alice Cooper and Helen Reddy among others) on a variety of projects he is spearheading.

I've also been lucky enough to be invited to play with literally some of the best musicians in LA, who's resumes include Motley Crue, WASP, Alice Cooper, Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake, Billy Idol, etc, etc.  We played some old Life Sex & Death tunes at the Key Club last week and to say it was awesome and weird would be no understatement! We all had such a blast we may do this some more!

Finally, as a small atonement for failing you on the Marky Ramone show next week, we are all but giving away some brand new AntiProduct must-have swag, including a two for one t-shirt deal as well as t-shirt/cd sale that will make you question if we all got syphillis!!!

Be well, kick ass and never ever let those with agendas destroy what makes you you.  They will lose everytime!!

Your bitch,

Alex

ps.  there will be a brand new AntiProduct collection of songs before the end of the year.  This is the shit that was too heavy for PLEASE TAKE YOUR CASH."
