The highly-anticipated Sonisphere announcement landed on the doormat of ÜRHQ with a damp thud earlier this evening.
Headline performances from KISS, now taking to the stage with less original members than original hair, and Queen, fronted by reality television poseur Adam Lambert, were confirmed, with Faith No More claiming the other top-billed slot.
Tim Minchin was confirmed for the comedy stage while Cypress Hill, The Darkness, Lacuna Coil, The Blackout, Flogging Molly, Switchfoot, Katatonia, Gojira, Marilyn Manson, Mastodon, Andrew W.K, Refused, Incubus, Ghost, Within Temptation, Evanescence and Wolfmother were also confirmed to appear across the 2012 event.
