Alkaline Trio, Mystery Jets and Slow Club have joined the bill for this year's Liverpool Sound City festival.

The festival, which takes place on May 17-19 across various venues in the city, has also added Michael Kiwanuka, Alt-J, Willy Mason, Ghostpoet, Niki And The Dove, Toy, The Jezabels, (ALT-J) and a number of others to its line-up.

Professor Green, White Denim and Death In Vegas were amongst the acts already confirmed for the Liverpool event.
