Veteran Australian thrashers Mortal Sin are looking for a new frontman after vocalist Mat Maurer announced that he was leaving the band.

"I have decided to leave the band for personal reasons and irreconcilable differences." Maurer said. "Last year was an incredibly difficult year for me personally and I have decided to put my family first. Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the years."

Mortal Sin's latest album, 'Psychology Of Death', was released in Europe last November via NoiseArt Records and included the group's classic debut, 'Mayhemic Destruction', as a bonus disc in the limited digipak version.
