Metallica have confirmed that they will headline the Swiss edition of the Sonisphere festival on May 30 at Yverdon-les-Bains.

The likes of Gojira, Slayer, Motorhead, Mastodon and Eluveitie are also set to appear at the event.

Metallica will play the "black album" in its entirety at selected European festivals, including Sonisphere, this summer. They will also play the album at one show at their recently announced Orion Music + More festival, the other show 1984's 'Ride The Lightning' in its entirety for the first time ever.
