Dizzee Rascal, the London rapper set to release his fifth album later this year, has been announced as support to Red Hot Chili Peppers at their Knebworth Park stadium show on June 23.

No support has yet been announced for the band's show the following day at Sunderland's Stadium of Light on June 24, although we're guessing it will be either N-Dubz or that MIA woman who stuck her middle finger up at television cameras at the Superbowl thereby producing the most contrived piece of controversy since Justin Timberlake pulled off Janet Jackson's leather C-cup in the famous "wardrobe malfunction" incident that the clowns still think we believe to this day wasn't a planned stage move.

These above dates follow the RHCP's sold out arena tour of 2011 and will be the band's only UK shows this year.
