Lou Reed is set to play songs from last year's controversial 'Lulu' album on his forthcoming European tour.

The former frontman of The Velvet Underground will embark on the 'From VU to LULU' European tour in the summer. The trek will start in Luxembourg on June 5th and take in several festivals, including Switzerland's Caribana, France's Montereau, Berlin's Citadel and Slovakia's Pohoda. The tour will also hit Belgium, Germany, France, Holland and Denmark.

Lou Reed's band will consist of Tony "Thunder" Smith (drums), Rob Wasserman (bass), Kevin Hearn (keyboards) and Aram Bajakian (guitar).

Lou and band will perform material from Reed's entire career, ranging from The Velvet Underground to his recent collaboration with Metallica which split fans into two camps; haters and simply dislikers....
