ROB ZOMBIE has revealed the title and release date for his forthcoming album.

'Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor' will be released on April 23rd. The album has been produced by Bob Marlette (Alice Cooper, Airbourne, Sebastian Bach, Anvil).

It's gonna be a busy week for RZ as his latest movie, 'The Lords Of Salem' (watch the trailer below), is set for release on April 26th. The film stars Patricia Quinn, Dee Wallace, Ken Foree, Meg Foster, Michael Berryman, Sid Haig and, of course, Sheri Moon Zombie.

"I think for the first time this new album perfectly merges the old days of White Zombie with the future of what I am doing now," says Rob. "I think fans of both will agree that this is the perfect combo of both worlds."

'Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor' is the first release on Rob's new label, Zodiac Swan, through T-Boy Records/UMe, and is set to include 'Dead City Radio And The New Gods Of Super Town', the album's first single, along with such tracks as 'Ging Gang Gong De Do Gong De Laga Raga', 'Lucifer Rising', 'Behold! The Pretty Filthy Creatures' and a heavy-duty cover of Grand Funk Railroad's 'We're an American Band'.

It has also been confirmed that Rob Zombie is to receive a 2013 Golden God Award:

"The Golden God Award (presented by Sumerian Records), which is given to one special honoree a year who embodies the spirit of hard rock and metal, will go to Rob Zombie, who commented, 'What can I say? It is a complete honor to receive this award and have my name join the list of such legendary past winners as Alice Cooper and Gene Simmons. Pretty cool deal to be part of the Golden God club.' (The other previous honorees are Rob Halford of Judas Priest and Dave Mustaine of Megadeth.)"

RZ's guitarist John 5 is also up for a Golden God, having been nominated in the Best Guitarist category.
