2013 marks the 25th anniversary of the formation of legendary UK outfit THE ALMIGHTY. To celebrate the band's back catalogue will be reissued.

The band's frontman Ricky Warwick, currently with Black Star Riders (the band formerly known as Thin Lizzy!), posted this news on a new Facebook profile for The Almighty which launched today:

"Twenty-five years ago today, Ricky Warwick, Stump Monroe and Floyd London of the heralded Scottish band The Almighty gathered together in Strathaven for their first rehearsal. Now it is two and half decades later and the legacy is still going strong.

To celebrate this milestone, the band will be doing special anniversary reissues of a lot of their formidable catalog. We will post more news as the year progresses.

At present, the band has no plans to perform live, but the reissues will be extra special… and maybe there will even be some special new additions that no Almighty fan has ever heard.

Thanks to all of you that have continued to support The Almighty over the past 25 years!"
