L.A. GUNS have outdone themselves this time...as hard as that might seem.

Having announced former Sea Hags/Arcade guitarist Frankie Wilsey as the band's newest member - replacing the then-freshly departed axe-meister Stacey Blades - only a month ago, L.A. Guns bassist Scotty Griffin has revealed that this weekend's shows from the band will feature a new guitarist...again!

Scotty Griffin:

"Michael Grant from EndeverafteR will be our guitarist starting this weekend in Chicago and Detroit. Is he our permanent guitarist? What happened to the last guitarist? Who's [sic] solo album is better, Paul's or Ace's? I can't say... I'm just the bass player. But you heard it here first. Stay tuned..."

Michael Grant:

"It's official! I'm the new lead guitarist for L.A. Guns and we will be touring through Illinois and Michigan starting this Thursday (January 17th). Check out www.laguns.net for tour dates, tickets and catch me if you can."

That last comment might not be the off-the-cuff remark it was intended to be in light of Wilsey's quickfire departure, reasons currently unknown.

'L.A. GUNS: LIVE IN CONCERT', a new DVD/CD package, will be released by Cleopatra Records on February 12th. Fuck knows who'll be playing guitar by then.
