7th March – Oxford, 02 Academy
8th March – London, Electric Ballroom
10th March – Cardiff, Solus
11th March – Nottingham, Rock City
16th March – Bournemouth, 02 Academy
Tickets for all shows are £11.50, with London priced at £14, and available from the usual outlets.
Sacred Mother Tongue are also appearing at the fifth annual Hammerfest, which this year takes place in Pwllheli, North Wales, headlined by Killing Joke. Sacred Mother Tongue will perform there on 13th March.
These shows all precede the release of the band’s second album ‘Out Of The Darkness’ which will be released via EMI Label Services on 15th April.
Produced by Scott Atkins (Behemoth/Sylosis/Cradle of Filth) the album hints at the power of Metallica, the melody of Alter Bridge, the darkness of Alice In Chains, the virtuosity of Children of Bodom and the visceral edge of Machine Head, whilst bringing a uniquely British sensibility to these stadium-rocking influences.
