It has been announced that legendary sports/entertainment card company TOPPS will add a HEAVY METAL AUTOGRAPHS insert into its previously announced 2013 Topps Archive Baseball set.

What this means is that, amongst the iconic visages of impressive sportsmen, a bunch of autographed cards featuring notable musicians from the 1980s will be included.

Limited to 25 copies each, and printed on metal - \m/ \m/ - the Heavy Metal Autographs sub-set will feature:

SEBASTIAN BACH (Skid Row)
TOMMY LEE (Motley Crue)
KIP WINGER (...err...Winger)
REB BEACH (Whitesnake/Winger)
STEPHEN PEARCY (Ratt)
SCOTT IAN (Anthrax)
DEE SNIDER (Twisted Sister)
LITA FORD (The Runaways/herself)
BOBBY BROWN (WTF?)

A tenth Heavy Metal Autograph will be included, the legendary rocker yet to be confirmed. We're putting our money on Chainsaw Caine of Slave Raider.
