German symphonic metallers Therion are to release their truly epic new album, ‘Beloved Antichrist’, on 2 February via Nuclear Blast.

The album is a three-hour long rock opera, loosely inspired by Vladimir Soloviov’s ‘A Short Tale Of The Antichrist’, spread across three CDs and featuring 27 vocalists, each portraying one of the different characters in the story.


Therion kick off a European tour on 1 February, which lands in the UK the day after the album’s release, with dates as follows:

Tuesday 6 – Newcastle Upon Tyne, Riverside

Wednesday 7 – Aberdeen, The Assembly

Thursday 8 – Glasgow, Audio

Friday 9 – Sheffield, Corporation

Saturday 10 – Belfast, Limelight 2

Sunday 11 – Dublin, Tivoli

Tuesday 13 – Bristol, Bierkeller

Wednesday 14 – Birmingham – O2 Institute
