Bruce Dickinson to face up to Jeremy Paxman on ‘University Challenge’ Print E-mail

Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson is to face up to television ultimate inquisitor, Jeremy Paxman, when he appears on a special alumni edition of ‘University Challenge’.

He will represent his alma mater, Queen Mary College, London, alongside broadcaster Adrian Chiles, TV chef Ching He Huang and science writer Marcus Chown. 

 

They will face off against Cardiff University – whose team will include BBC World News presenter Laura Trevelyan and former cycling world champion Nicole Cooke, in the penultimate first round match, to be broadcast on BBC2 at 8.30pm on New Year’s Day.
