Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown have just finished introducing themselves to (hopefully) thousands of potential new fans, thanks to a run of high profile dates which started at Download, then saw them move on to supporting Aerosmith and Guns N Roses.

In between, they stopped off in Belfast for a headlining show, where myself The Dark Queen caught up with the Nashville quartet’s more than affable frontman for a quick chat about life on the road, his love of the Irish accent (and why you shouldn't drink Guinness in Belfast), the band's  forthcoming album, the importance of a blue-collar work ethic – and his desire to return to this corner of the Überverse as soon as a big silver bird (and finances) will allow:

Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown return to the UK to support Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers at Hyde Park on Sunday 9 July and again to play the Blues Stage at the Ramblin’ Man Fair on Sunday 30 July.
