Vive-Le-Valentine-Poster_thmbUsing his cricket score of a birthday as an excuse to flee to the big city for a weekend away from the rest of us, we have to give Johnny H credit that at least he chose this Vive Le Rock endorsed night as the one at which to drown his midlife crisis. "Vive Le Valentine" was the title of the evening and our uber rocking lothario was more than up for the challenge with a bill boasting some of the UK's finest home grown rock 'n' roll talent.

danevi86It was February the 9th, Johnny H's birthday, yet the Über Röck legend could not attend this all-acoustic gig at the EVI for one simple reason: he shares a hairstyle (if you can even call it that?!) with the legendary Dan Reed and the latter had already made plans for the evening. Those plans? Amazing those lucky enough to witness a stunning solo performance, as Rob Watkins discovered....

rllive86Unable to get tickets to sit in the audience for the filming of Loose Women and not brave enough to drill a hole in the wall of a girls' locker room like an '80s teen movie character, Über Röck's Matt Phelps gets to hang around with, and look at, sweaty women by pretending to like bands like Reckless Love, Jettblack and The Treatment.
