HFS thmbIn the past year Uber Rock’s Jamie Richards has seen Henry’s Funeral Shoe more times than he can remember, I guess you could call him “a bit of a fan” of the Ystrad Mynach acid-blues duo. Thing is though, we are all fans of the band here at URHQ, so when the EVI and Odin’s Rock Club recently announced a four band bill headlined by the Shoe, we all had to be there. Mott thmbWhen fans finally got the chance to see Mott The Hoople live again via five sensational shows at the Hammersmith Apollo back in 2009, everyone thought “oh well that’s it then, a musical legend finally put to bed.” But no, earlier this month the band returned to roll away the stone once more with dates in Birmingham, Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester and London.
