Little_Big_Head_SleeveDuncan Reid had been a member of one of the most influential UK punk bands of all time for a long time, that band of course being The Boys. But then back in the summer of 2011 right out of the blue he chose to announce he was going solo. Earlier this year Duncan released his cracker of a debut album 'Little Big Head', and knowing he's a bit of a fan of The Boys, we asked Dom Daley to review it. Following this Duncan was soon on the blower to fill in some of the gaps since we last saw him at Rebellion 2011 and Dom was only too pleased to listen.

Peter_DolvingEx The Haunted frontman Peter Dolving always thought Joy Division were way cooler than Judas Priest and it certainly shows with 'Thieves And Liars' his first solo album.  Darrel Sutton realises the unimaginable as he takes in an album he simply can't get his head around as melodic death metal is most certainly a thing of the past in this  world of thieves and liars.

AliceH13thumb10 down, 3 to go. If the name Armless Alice hasn't already told you that this band is perfect for Uber Rock's 13 Days Of Halloween, then the noise that this cadre of Swedish industrial metallers summons up will confirm all of your worst fears. The band's frontman Hyde fell down behind the sofa clutching at his throat, and re-emerged with the answers to our unlucky-for-some 13 questions. They wanted a son, he gave them a nightmare.....

Dangerfieldsh13thumbThe Dangerfields? Didn't they curl up and die ages ago? What if we told you that the New Year would be bringing with it a career-spanning retrospective release from these noisy mofos? What if we told you that the band's front (and back) man, Andrew Johnston, was the latest victim of Uber Rock's 13 Days Of Halloween? A man who knows his Chain Saw from his Chainsaw? deadendthumbThe Dead End Drive-In that dissects the 13 Days Of Halloween had to be showing a trashy classic, didn't it? dazmondothumbH13We got this, man! We got this by the ass! His JD & the FDC bandmates indicated that we would never get a reply if we asked Dawn of the Dead obsessive Dazmondo to partake in Uber Rock's 13 Days Of Halloween and, man, a lot of people are running...he could run... he could run, tonight....but he didn't let us down. Many have died, last week, on these streets. In the basement of this building, you will find them. I have given them the last rites. Now, you do what you will. You are stronger than us. But soon, I think they be stronger than you. When the dead walk, señores, we must stop the killing... or lose the war.....
