Über Röck interviewing legend Dom Daley recently caught up with Jesse Malin for a cool chat that you can read here next week! In the meantime, we thought we'd wet your whistle with a terror tale teaser from the man himself. This was Jesse's response20080304-malin1 to the now-infamous "Have you ever experienced a particularly nasty Gig From Hell?"

When I was a kid I had a hardcore band called Heart Attack. We were all thirteen years old. We went on tour to Mexico City, which was very primitive back then. The bass player Brandon was a very big boy. He weighed a lot. He had a Kramer bass with an aluminium neck. There was no grounding in the studio electrically. He held on to his bass with one hand on the aluminium and grabbed a mic with the other hand. The electric current was so strong, he went flying across the room and fell into the drums. It was painful and scary!
