Wrathchild bassist Marc Angel has spent most of his adult life trying to reach the rock star promised land, but has never quite made it. So when we asked him for his very own Gig From Hell story did he tell us bullshit tales about missed limos, famous groupies and stints in rehab? Nah, this down to earth rock 'n' roller simply gave us a shocking vision of what happens when you got a little too close to Blackie Lawless, and the physical risks you run trying to be Gene Simmons when playing a club 'Oop North.

Sixteen years ago next month, Über Röck's very own Johnny H and Russ P were bandmates getting kicked off a pretty high profile support slot for the sake of "irony". Sounds a bit Spinal Tap if you ask us, but then again they both promised us a book's worth of Gigs From Hell and the first one comes from another of their former band mates...!!!!!!
