Rock 'n' Roll on a school night in a bar with a 4am curfew might put off some potential reviewers but not us at Uber Rock. Not when Berlin punk rockers Radio Dead Ones are concerned anyway, add a strong local support to the under card and Johnny H will quickly be waving his 'AAA' pass (for that read a £5 note) to get in. Cardiff gets ready for some 'Mighty Mass Hysteria', but were you there?

Try going to see his once-beloved Manic Street Preachers at a sold out arena show. It's safe to say that one band has made an impact on the URHQ stereo like no other this year, and that band is Los Angeles retro rockers Vintage Trouble. Perfectly blending rock and soul Ty Taylor and his band are making all the right noises right now and boy do we like what we hear. Johnny H caught up with the band recently for one of the most surreal first gig experiences of his life.

Rush brought their revered three and a half hour 'Time Machine' tour to the UK, promising a run through of 'Moving Pictures' in its entirety.
