flipFlip Skateboards released the third movie in their 'Sorry' series - 'Extremely Sorry' - in October of this year and now, some two months later, comes the UK release of the soundtrack album which contains at least a couple of oddities that could appeal to all curious Über Röckers....

Produced by UK DJ and drum and bass legend Baron, this eclectic soundtrack album fuses a wide range of different styles as the producer worked closely with the movie's director and star Geoff Rowley in order to create a soundscape that complimented the individual styles of all the skateboarders featured in the flick.

While I'm sure the aforementioned words 'drum' and 'bass' have already caused convulsions to many of the hardened r'n'r fans reading this, the album does feature a spattering of heavy duty tunes that could raise an eyebrow or two amongst your good selves. 'Scream My Name' features Jim Lindberg of Pennywise fame and is a big sounding, cool tune that should appeal to any fans of The Prodigy and their ilk. 'The Process Of Extinction' (featuring Early Man) is another decent entry that offers any number of opportunites to rock out.

The real reason for you to check this disc out though are the contributions by hard rock heavyweights Dave Lombardo and Lemmy Kilminster. The Slayer sticksman features on a track called....wait for it.....'Drum Solo', which does exactly what it says on the tin. The Motorhead mainman features on the spoken intro to the album alongside creator Geoff Rowley. The real point of interest though is the collaboration with Lemmy and Lombardo on the cheeky cover of the Ben E. King classic 'Stand By Me' - this has to be heard to be believed and comes highly recommended.

The remainder of the album is wonderfully produced and multi talented yet will always sound just how it was ultimately intended - background music. Download 'Stand By Me' and go about your business with a smile on your face.
