Lifeless_coverHave the last 25 years been a myth or have Lifeless just not listened to a single piece of music since DRI, Slayer and Nuclear Assault were in their pomp?

Don't mistake that for an insult, this self titled debut from Lifeless is an assault on the ears that reminds you just how far the musical scene has changed since the thrash invention, but the original blue print is still effective today.

'Judgement Day' comes out of the blocks like a epileptic machine gunner flailing bullets of menace and intrigue and continues through most of this disc with only the occasional dip in speed and quality. 'Wytches Tyt', 'N.S.S' and 'The End Is Nigh' continue the high octane thrash fest that the whipped up Stella loving pit monsters will revel in. 'Altered State' highlights some great lyrics and catches vocalist Nixon in a clearer style that tips its hat to S.O.D.amongst others.

This is a serious, fast paced, tub thumpingly good thrash fest that hits every vein in the body as it slices through to your core. These twelve tracks of quality Old Skool Thrash follow on from last year's mini-album 'Full Chill' and it carries on the good things that this Middlesbrough band have started.

See them whip up a crowd in October throughout the North and the Midlands - what more does any thrasher want in 2011?
