"We know where we stand" say Gasoline Queen and after a couple of listens I'm sure you will as well. A polished set of songs with singer Dee Hoffman possessing a mighty fine set of pipes and an ear for a decent melody as well. 'Broken, Cursed And Damned' comes across sounding in the same vein as, well, um....Vain, I suppose. So that's where these guys are kind of coming from.
They're not going to pull up any trees or tread any new turf from this offering but there is promise here and a full length is on the way (oo-er mrs) which on this evidence deserves to be checked out. The last track is an all out rocker called 'Stalker' and does exactly what it says on the tin - "Fuel for your rock n roll soul". Indeed it is chaps.
