The culmination of their efforts takes the form of 'Keepers Of The Faith', the all new Terror opus and possibly their career-defining moment. The band absolutely ooze the essence of what you want from a Hardcore band. Their energy, aggression and commitment makes every song on this album a pure adrenaline surge. The opening blast of 'Your Enemies Are Mine', is the way an album should start, a 1:40 sprint at lightning pace. 'Shattered' is metallic hardcore at it's very finest, possessing the crunch and groove to perfectly compliment the speedier moments. 'You're Caught' is East Coast style aggression and the perfect catharsis for Scott Vogel. Listening to this guy is a total inspiration, and this album should leave you in no doubt that he is in this for life. The line "Hardcore's running through my veins, without you who the fuck would I be?" in 'The New Blood', pretty much sums the guy up.
With so many good albums surfacing this year, you sometimes wonder how some bands are even gonna be in the same league, but Terror don't just reaffirm their class, they ram it down your throat. The title track and 'Stay Free' perfectly demonstrate the strength and variety top notch metallic hardcore can have; chunky aggressive riffing, groove, speed, the fucking lot. And if you think there might be a filler on here, no chance. To the last sweat-drenched note this album is a genuine bona-fide monster. As Mr Vogel says "Only Death Can Slow Me Down", and I doubt even that would.
They're gonna be coming to a town near you very soon as they tour off the back of this record
