fatiniza'Confusion' is the debut album of Bucaramanga born Fatiniza and, to give you a quick idea of the sound here, take one part Amanda Marshall, one part Dilana Robichaux (Rockstar Supernova TV Show), another part Shakira and add a smattering of attitude and you're kinda close.

This is pop rock of the highest order and while there is a bit of filler here the good far outweighs the bad. Out of the twelve songs I say only three are filler, the rest is great! This is the kind of music that will be played on MTV type shows such as 'The Hills' and 'The City' and never be heard again - which in this artist's case would be a travesty!

Fatiniza is a singer with an amazing set of pipes who I hope does not go down the pop road with regards to her future releases as this girl can rock out when required to and mellow it down with the best of them. The biggest influence would be Shakira around her breakthrough album 'Laundry Service' and the Desmond Child penned 'Underneath Your Clothes'.

To the songs in question - there is a distinct Latin feel to the material here but, given her heritage, you can't help but understand why. 'Without You' has a Santana/Rob Thomas 'Smooth' vibe to it. One niggle is the language used - not to say that there is cussing on here but mixed language albums rarely do anything for me and this appears to be the case here, however Fatiniza is definitely one to watch out for...
