I did raise an eyebrow at the guitar solo and its Les Dawson style playing but hey, DIY punk isn't about being note perfect either and the attitude more than makes up for any deficiencies in the technical department - this EP sounds like a whole trash bag full of punk rock fun.
Track two sees the pace being picked up into a frantic blur of beautiful noise as 'Coffee' is the sound of some angry men falling off a cliff taking less than one and a half minutes to hit the bottom in a bonecrushing halt. It has energy and plenty of 'Fuck You and the horse you rode in on' going on here and I'm liking it. The final track 'No Love' is more of the same with a dirty Black Flag kinda riff spraying its notes all over the shop whilst the singer delivers his prose like a man possessed; as for what 'No Love' is about I haven't the foggiest but then again I'm enjoying the overall experience of hearing a band play the fuck out of their instruments like there is no tomorrow, something I'm always happy to listen to.
Clocking in at 3:22 I was half expecting them to go into some sort of Pink Floyd pomp noodle but the cheeky scamps had actually written 'No Love' lasting the usual sub two minute mark then there's a healthy pause of silence before returning for a final Napalm Death type explosion of noise that lasts 28 seconds whilst the singer clears his throat - scared the shit out of me first time round as I wasn't expecting it but overall a very short sharp blast of punk and not at all bad.
