bulletrain176Coming from the new capital of sleaze that is Sweden are Bulletrain, new contenders for the crown of sleaze. The band consists of five best childhood friends who all share a dream of becoming a rock band who'll affect the world in the same ways as their idols; Guns N' Roses, Mötley Crüe and Bon Jovi to name a few!

Way back when their idols actually meant something to a rock fan, I used to see bands like this ten a penny. In that you could always tell who the Bon Jovi fan or Mötley Crüe fan was in the band. And in most cases there was no identity to the band in question. So having read the bio and pressing play I automatically prepared for nothing special.

Well I'm pleased to say that I was wrong and that Bulletrain RAWK! By taking the best bits of the above influences and smattering them with a little something special, Bulletrain prove wise beyond their young years. The band, whose ages range from 18-22, prove that new ears can have old hearts.

With this release the band have given me hope in the future of rock and with hints of 80's KISS, Danger Danger and their surrounding bands such as H.E.A.T., Crazy Lixx and Crashdiet. This band can do no wrong in my AOR permed eyes.

Please come back soon with a full album and I'm sure to be there lapping it up like the pussy I am for this kind of RAWK!
