Mixing a variety of styles, there's quite a lot going on. Opener 'The Beckoning' is like a slower paced Carcass, with vocalist Sharleen Kennedy alternating styles between an Angela Gossow-like growl and Evanescence-like clean vocals. Unusual but it works.
'History Repeats' is a good heads-down metal track, again with the alternating vocal styles. Indeed, the pattern is fairly similar throughout the tracks on offer.
Good solid metal of various flavours, strong songs and a hell of a vocalist. Certainly ones to watch.
