Mark Sweeney releases his second solo-record since 2007. 'ALL IN' impressively reveals the sound of rock for 2010.
The 12 titles on the new record were produced by rock icon Michael Voss. The songs are both modern and rock; the ballads stretch very deep. Mark Sweeney was able to get some top-class musicians for his new project. American singer Robin Beck (First Time) joins Mark for a duet. Bruce Kulick's (Ex-Kiss) astonishing contribution confirms that he's one of the world's greatest guitarists. Living legend Stefan Kaufmann (Ex-Accept/U.D.O.) demonstrates with his guitar playing that he is far from being too old to rock and roll! Drummer Jörg Michael's first rate performance showcases his talent and flair. German vocalist Pearl also appears.
The 12 tracks on offer display Mark's profound love of music foremost, while his voice may not be to everyone's liking, it highlights the immense song-writing ability of offer here. Admittedly with the names involved Mark happily straddles the wall of pop rock with an AOR/MOR Bryan Adams style. So again a very enjoyable collection which will not break any musical barriers but is a very rewarding piece of work.
