Let's start at the beginning with the bone crushing debut 'Aporia'. Opening with the title song, which is a near slice of metal heaven, in just under five minutes the band rewrite the metal notebook with its seemingly easy melody and heaviness. This album for me is a total eye opener into a band that I mistakenly lumped into the modern metal genre, which generally leaves me cold. But these albums have shown me the error of my ways and I shall really look forward to seeing what the band comes up with next. There are four bonus songs on this reissue which come in the guise of live tracks, which to be fair isn't much but they are there for the fans and show an even more brutal side to the band.
2009's 'Forever Never' is a more focussed album and all the more brutal and satisfying for it. This shows the band moving into truly epic-ness. For me the best song on here is the amazing 'Send Me A Sign' which transcends genre and is truly a masterpiece. In my opinion, as with the first album, on 'Forever Never' the guitar riffs are mind blowing and the vocals of Renny Carroll are just plain amazing.
