Ember's Flame hail from Finland and manage to namecheck Hanoi Rocks and Him (surprise, surprise) but certainly don't look like Michael Monroe and Co.
Soundwise, I guess you can hear their influence on the A side of this single, 'She Said'. Only having two tracks to go on it's difficult to say where these guys can go but it's catchy enough in a modern hard rockin' sort of way. I would definitely consider a long player on the strength of this single. Not original but well delivered slabs of rock with 'Rock 'n' Roll Conspiracy' being the better of the two songs on offer, with some decent guitar work driving the song along.
If you are a fan of the last incarnation of Hanoi Rocks then you'll definitely hear some of that here as opposed to the classic era of Hanoi but that's no shame. Rock and roll is alive and well in Finland in the shape of Ember's Flame. I'd like to hear what else they have to offer songwise - I guess time will tell.
