1agraveOver their 20 years of peddling top notch death metal Stockholm's Grave have more than earned the title of legends. Along with Entombed, Dismember and Unleashed they helped create the trademark "Stockholm Sound" we all know and love. 'Burial Ground' is their ninth studio full-lengther and continues in the vein you'd expect with all aspects of their old school death coming over loud and clear.

'Liberation' and 'Semblance In Black' are classic Swedish death; downtuned, double-distortion monsters which aren't afraid to pick up the pace as well. 'Dismembered Mind' throws a bit of Obituary into the mix for good measure before the mid section rattles a couple of teeth loose. 'Outcast' is just plain vicious in its brutality and the title track makes a great, brooding closer.

20 years doesn't seem to have diminished the power of Grave. If anything they are as strong as ever. The guitars are vicious in their execution and Ola Lindgren's vocals are the epitomy of the way DM should be sung; blood-curdlingy brutal. At the end of the day, legends don't make shit albums and Grave don't intend to break that trend any time soon.
