driveshesaid_dreamswillcomeTo say that Drive She Said and I have history is like saying that night follows day. Look at the facts here; Drive She Said consist of the AOR dream team that is ex-Touch/Valhalla member Mark Mangold and multi instrumentalist Al Fritsch who, during the 80's and 90's, recorded six classic albums.

Starting with the debut self titled long player which was released in 1989 and featured guitar work from Saraya's Tony Rey and Kiss/Meat Loaf guitarist for hire Bob Kulick. The contribution from Aldo Nova on the standout track 'Love Has No Pride' and another co-write from Fiona on 'Hard Way Home' made the album very special indeed and I haven't even mentioned the classic 'If This Is Love'......

Following up the classic debut was a task many a band have failed at. Thankfully Drive She Said took their time and returned in 1991 with another AOR masterpiece in 'Drivin' Wheel'. The lead single from this album was 'Think Of Love' which has the most beautiful lyrics of many an AOR classic. The title song brings memories of Deep Purple's 'Burn' to mind.

This CD brings together all of the important singles in the band's history along with two new songs in 'Dreams Will Come' and the modern sounding 'Try 2 Let U Go (FukUUP)' -  the former fits in beautifull,y however the latter kind of sticks out like a sore thumb on this otherwise beautiful AOR release.

This release is essential for fans of FM and any AOR band that has ever given breath.
