pretty_maids-pandemoniumDanish rock band Pretty Maids came to the spotlight back in 1983 after support slots with Black Sabbath and Rainbow. In 1984 they even toured with Saxon. So how come this kind of pedigree lead to so much contempt? I never know how rock fans can be so fickle...

Anyway, back in the here and now of 2010 and the band are unleashing their first new album in four years on the public. 'Pandemonium' is giving a nod to the 'Future World/Red, Hot and Heavy' era of the Eighties but updating it with a modern and fresh approach.

The vocals of Ronnie Atkins are crisp and clear and, mixed with the guitars of Ken Hammer, showcase what talent Pretty Maids still have to offer audiences worldwide.

Coming off the back of a 2006's 'Wake Up To The Real World' tour which ran for two and a half years, the band have really gelled as a formidable unit of ROCK! I honestly cannot wait to catch these guys performing songs such as the title track, 'Little Drops Of Heaven' and, to be totally honest, the whole album.

Frontiers Records are, along with AOR Heaven, continuing to release so much high-end product... It's almost like I'm stuck in a wet dream of keyboards, guitar solos and poodle perms.
