igneoushumanThis is a very good album. Thought I'd get that important fact out of the way early on, because this album has proven a bit of an enigma for me since I first got it.

You see Igneous Human really do have quite an eclectic range of influences in their music, from thrash to nu-metal to trad metal. One minute you can hear In Flames, the next Stuck Mojo, the next Dio-era Sabbath. These Swedes really do keep you on your toes.

Songs like 'You Better Be Dead', 'Quake' and 'Deceived' showcase this variety of style perfectly. And don't be put off by the variety, as they have an uncanny knack too of taking the best of each of their influences and putting their own touch to things, making it a really entertaining listen.

Give them a go, because this is great stuff.
