coloursofoneNot to be confused with Brynmawr's very own Circle Of One, Colours Of One unleash upon us a 7 track EP/mini album and the first thing that grabs you is a sense of please hurry up and get on with the job in hand.....having a fifty two second intro that sounds exactly the same as the first proper song 'Burning Ants' is ludicrous! WHY?

Technically there are 7 tracks here however only 6 are songs....having said that the actual song is a slow burner, until the pre-chorus kicks in and the band proceed to let rip with a riff so big and precise that you can not help but smile.

Second proper song 'R.I.D.' continues with the ridiculous song titles but is a real belter! With the vocalist sounding like a cross between Alter Bridge's Myles Kennedy and Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder you can see which route this band is taking to the big time!

The rest of the disc carries on in similar fashion and this is a very solid effort from the band formed in 2008. Having already played many famous stages such as Cardiff's Clwb Ifor Bach, Barfly, International Arena as well as Swansea's Sin City and Newport TJ's, this band have a great future as long as they keep it simple and just flat out ROCK!
