What 'Ghosts In The Radio' clearly shows is a wide variety of influences the band draw from. From the 60's through Cream, into the 70's era of Jefferson Airplane, through the 80's Lemonheads and into 90's Alice In Chains, mix in a bit of prime time Led Zeppelin and even though I'm loathe to admit it a hint of prog rock (the new beige in my household) and it should give you an idea of what to expect.
While categorising Cemetery Superfly is difficult, I'd definitely say classic rock with an up to date indie twist. Tracks like 'World Without End', 'Fireflys' and 'Mad Woman' are up there with some of the more interesting things I've heard this year to date, and if they ever get over here to Blighty I'll be one of the first there to check them out live.
If you like Alice In Chains musically without the vocal edge that Layne Staley brought to the proceedings then this one's for you.
