From the opening barrage of 'Ships In The Wood' through to the closing atmospherics of 'The Road To Happiness' this is a staggering record, full of passion and some great songs. They remind me a little of Ghost Of A Thousand, not particularly for the musical style but for the sheer gusto of songs like the aforementioned opener and 'Golden Crowns'. Every song just grabs you by the scruff of the neck and compels you to jump about. If you've had a bad day, slip this disc in, press play and feel the grin form on your face and the hairs on your neck stand up. The guitars crackle with the perfect mix of aggression and melody and the vocals are damn near perfect. Fuck it, I haven't heard a European hardcore album this good since Black Friday 29 split up, and believe me, I fucking loved them. They seem to draw on a number of influences without sounding like anyone in particular, and just seem to be so utterly into what they do that you can't help but just get swept away by this record.
In short I fucking love this record and so should you. If their live shows translate the vibe on
