M_ill_ion-Sane---InsanityOne of Scandinavia's top hard rock bands, M.ILL.ION, are back with their seventh album 'Sane & Insanity'. Recorded in Sweden during 2010 and mixed at the classy JM Studio where founder and bassman B.J. Laneby teamed up with Martin Kronlund (Joe Lynn Turner, Phenomena, Paul Young a.o.) behind the soundboard. Introducing the new aces Andreas Grövle on guitar and Angelo Modafferi from Australia on keyboards, M.ILL.ION has come up with a top production packed with melodic hard rock of the finest brand.

'Sane & Insanity' opens with the 'Sea Of Fate (Intro)' which to me is a bit pointless, the first proper song is 'Cry To Heaven' which blasts from the speakers with the force of a thousand Andrex puppies weeping! Yes, it's THAT DAMN GOOD! With the guitars flowing effortlessly, the keyboards blending an aural landscape so tear inducing, it's magical! 'Everyday Hero' opens with a very Deep Purple-esque hammond organ and leads straight into a classic rocker, another point for me is how 70s the band now sound... I love it!

'Tomorrow Never Dies' is an almost heaven-like slice of Euro rock from the masters. The band have totally surprised me in that they have actually delivered a classic! 'I Raise My Glass' is nothing like its P!nk namesake. It is another slice of 70s/80s Purple/Snake rocker, which will no doubt get many fists pumping in a live setting and here on records as well.

This one is definitely for fans of Whitesnake, Gotthard and Deep Purple. Believe me when I say that this is for you!
