It contains all the classic Norwegian black metal references which you would expect from its two key members, with some neat doom touches, such as the slower moments on standout track ‘Sub Human Destruction’, combined with elements of power metal – see the intro section to ‘Predator’, and some classic, heads-down, see-you-at-the-end thrash (‘Plaguebringer’).
There is enough variety here to keep fans of both death and thrash metal interested, but overall this is a fairly average example of the sub-genre and would be one for hardcore collectors only.
