promisePromise Me Tomorrow is not only a band name but, potentially, what these pop-punk upstarts from South East Kent are hoping for on this, their debut mini album, 'Through It All'.

Sliding in melodically with a Kids In Glass Houses, You Me At Six slanted approach on 'More Than You Know', some neat harmonic chanted backing vocals and fine lead vocals get tangled amidst some jangly guitar work with pretty much more of the same on 'Knock-Backs and Heart-Attacks'. Thumping drums and guitars beckon in 'Go Get 'Em Kid' and assure that there's no dividing this particular act from the evergrowing list of so called pop-punk artists clamouring for scraps from the record companies and recognition from the musical public.

Debut single/video 'You Haven't Seen The Best Of Me' is, for me, hit and miss; typical guitar riffage for this sort of release, although there is a half decent at best choral arrangement and some strong LostProphets-like chants that go someway towards saving the track from musical oblivion altogether.

'For All The Wrong Reasons' has some nice hooks and arrangements but lacks that essential killer chorus. 'All Or Nothing' continues but still lacking enough originality to make a difference; a happy tune but there's plenty of those around to say the least. A mellowing down on 'No-One Said It Was Easy' comes as a welcome release from the norm, a well put together ditty, again those chanting harmonic backing vocals come out shining and lifting the track from obscurity with its "Walk Away" vocal outro. The guys redo track two 'Knock-Backs and Heart-Attacks' acoustically to close the album in a relaxed mood.

Overall a passable piece of work but unfortunately stuck in the mire of endless indistinguishable Pop-Punk.....Kaboom.........
